  We hired White Knight Private Hire on two dates in September 2011 to take corporate clients on a training day. The bus arrived on time, the driver was very pleasant, helpful and competent. We left some items on the coach by mistake at the end of the first trip and the company made sure that they were returned at the start of the second trip. The coach was not the newest but was very adequate. We are using them again for further trips this year.

• Rude Manager, Ignorant Drivers

  We recently used this company via coach brokers to take us from London to Birmingham for the Take That Concert. The first problem we had was the driver was over half an hour late. The second problem we had was the driver ignored the instruction of the sat nav to do a u-turn resulting in us being misdirected and stuck in 1 and a half hours worth of traffic in the heart of the west end. When we informed the driver he should turn around and follow the sat nav he did not listen and continued in the wrong direction. As a result of this we were unable to make a pick up in Luton to which two 15 year olds girls were forced to take a taxi alone to Brimingham and borrow £180 from their parents to pay for this taxi. As a result my company ended up paying an extra £180 for a job White Knight should have been able to carry out. The third problem was that the minibus which was originally supposed to be a coach was filthy, there were sticky sweets all over the back of the van and wrappers everywhere as well. The fourth and in my opinion the biggest of all was the outrageous attitude of the manager. He was not only rude and abrupt but ignorant and unwilling to compromise. He was unprofessional and at times extremely abusive making any conversation with him very difficult. They were not cheap, and considering the service I received I would not use them again if it cost me £1. My party missed the first half of the event and instead of returning home at 1:30am the fact the driver got lost AGAIN on the way home meant we didn't get home till 3:30. Please, go with another company despite the price difference. This company will ruin your event, and definitely put you in bad spirits prior to it. Our whole event was ruined, our reputation has been damaged and the manager could not have cared less. There areplenty of other companies out there. It would be better to walk 1000 miles than use these people.
