We found FFR very helpful after spending 4 days chasing the manufacturers and getting nowhere. They seen to be held back by the manufacturers parts supplies and guarantee conditions which are restrictive. We have used FFR several times without a problem and would recomend then due to the knowhow they have.
I paid for an engineer to fix my oven through accompany called Isbal. They passed the job onto FFR services. I spoke to a Mr Brian Williams to attempt to book an appointment to visit my property and fix my oven but after speaking to him for five minutes on the phone I would not want him near me or my property. He was very rude, Agressive, constantly interrupted, called me a liar, shouting down the phone!! And all just to make an appointment. Has no customer service skills and no respect. God knows how he makes a living!! Can believe the below comments as talking to him on the phone was intimidating enough. A real nasty piece of work.
Called this company out to repair my Samsung fridge freezer after we were mucked around by Samsung. Superb service - even offering early morning call (at no extra cost) so i did not need to take time off work. Engineer arrived on time and was very professional - i have recommended to all my family and friends.
Great service 2 previous engineers couldn't repair appliance.engineer repaired on first visit and cost was very reasonal.very helpful engineers.our engineer turned up in a fully signed van and uniform.
FFR Services are complete cowboys. Turn up in an un-marked white van, no proof of corgi or other qualifications, rude, arrogant, charged a call out charge without warning me prior that there would be a call out charge, used threatening abusve behaviour to make me pay call out charge, didn't even attempt to fix my fridge as looked at it and said it wasn't repairable. Complete Pikey - DO NOT USE FFR Services
A WARNING AGAINST FFR SERVICES!!! PLEASE READ THIS We called out FFR on the 4th June as our oven wasn't working, and after paying for the call out were assured that the part would take about a week to ten days to arrive. Two weeks later on friday 29th june we decided to take the initiative and phone, as noone had contacted us. We were told that they would track down the part and would ring us back. Nothing happened - again. I was hoping to get a call back by Monday july 2nd, but as nobody called me, I 'phoned again on wednesday 4th july and spoke to a very lovely lady called Tina who promised to call me back within 24 hours. She didn't; despite the fact that I made it very clear to her that it was the lack of communication I was finding more frustrating than the slow service. On the 10th july I was still waiting, so had been without my oven for 5 weeks. I have four children, and unfortunately this summer hasn't been conducive to barbeques. I made one last attempt to call them on 16th july, and was told that they could send someone round later that day. Well, that was great, but my husband had paid over £70 for the call-out charge, and I then had to pay £39.95 for the dubious "privilege" of having someone fix my oven six weeks after they should have done. As soon as the engineer left, i noticed that the oven door wasn't opening out properly - it worked, but it didn't go down horizontally as it had done in the past. At this point though, I was so fed up of FFR Services lack of communication and broken promises that I thought it wasn't worth 'phoning them, as my oven still worked, even if the door wasn't working quite as it had done in the past. This all changed when this weekend (25/26august) I opened the oven door and it fell off its hinges, so I called FFR and asked them to come and repair it. They refused saying that I should have contacted them immediately. They seem to be unaware of the fact that the service I received from them was so appalling that I had no wish to be in touch with them again. Also, if I was really going to split hairs "immediately" seems to be a period of five or six weeks, therefore, according to their sense of time, I HAVE contacted them immediately. If you are reading this and are wondering whether to call out FFR Services, I have one word of advice for you - DON'T. If you value good customer service, good communication and friendly receptionists who make you feel valued, then FFR are not a company you'd want to deal with.We feel angry, let down and as if they were only interested in our money - apparently the only way they'll fix our oven door is if we pay them - again. We paid too much the first time for the service we received, and we're not doing it again. I urge you not to either...... Hannah Freeman, Bedfordshire.
