@adeel adeed mate i am same as yu ! even i have signed up for the course with the so called train to game for 6 months and they asked me to pay £135 a month at the start it was fine n the things started to be tight! so i rang up CDF stating tat i can continue the course . they said its no possible to do that. i real didn't no what to do! i didn't pay for a month they sent me a letter stating they are nt able to collect the money! what i had me bank balance below £100 but they try to take out £135. it was very funny for me in the CDF form its say its a direct debit but if it is so my bank account much be over-drafted! but it didn't! so i can to a conclusion that these people are liars and its a spam. i would rather say yu guy nt to worry about their threats!

i enroles with skillstrain in 10/2008 and i was told that the full amount of this course is 3225.GBP and i can pay monthly instalments which are 75 pounds a month. i have stopped studying at all since 7 months and the money was still going out from my bank account but things are getting very tight and i eventually decided to cancel the whole course. i called skilltrain and ask them to cancel it but they refused and advised me to contact the CDF to change or reduce my payment plan and her second advise was that you can transfer the course to someone else's name but the credit agreement will be still on your name and you can keep taking the money from your friend and like this you can cover your amount as well as your credit amount also and her thired option was that you can change your course if you dont like this course and i ask her that do you have any course which is under 1000 pound but she said no and even if you change your course you still have to pay the same outstanding balance so i said there is no point to change the course and it dosen't make sense for me to even transfer the course to any one else's name and i decided to contact with CDF and i explained my situation but the answer was same and she said to me that nothing to do with us werher you studying or not but we have paid the full amount to the skillstrailn and you are legally bound with us so you have to pay anyway otherwise you should seek for independent advise. EVERY BODY PLEASE GET MY POINT NOW! Q? i ask from that rude lady who work for CDF. that are you independent finance company or you related to the skills train only or providing loans to other institutions also? ANS: yes we do provide loand to diffrent colleges also. Q? could you please let me know about any of other college? ANS: this is not your problem and is not related to you quary. and the most funniest thing is here that it was the same lady who was talking to me on the phone from skills train and i was very astonished and then i called back to skillstrain college same time and one diffrent lady got very angree with me when i gave her my enrolement reference number and she said to me without listening me that just now my coleague explained you about the options you have then why do you want us to put you hold on the phone? i said thank you madam and could i please ask you that is there any other college in UK except you to whom CDF is providing finance like yours? she said this is not your problem. I too was taken in by CDF and Skillstrain. I was recently made redundant when a Skillstrain' rep called. I took a short test, which he then said I qualified for one of their courses. He then sold me the comp TIA A+, B+ and cisco networking courses, even though I was unemployed and had no savings of my own, infact I didnt even have a bank account, he sorted it so the payments would come out of a friends bank account. Well we paid for a year and things got 'real' tight as I still did not gain any employment. I wanted to end the course as I simply could not afford the payments, and was told by a rather rude woman at CDF that this was not possible and I had to pay. I then contacted CAB, who advised me to send a letter with a breakdown of my accounts and an offer of a lower payment. I did this and CDF sent me a letter saying the offer had been rejected. I then rang CDF and tried to work out a new payment figure as they said they could only accept £10 per month mininum. I sent in a new letter offering £15 per month, they in return replied with yet another refusal. I rang up CDF again and a helpful sounding gent said I had been refused because they didnt THINK I would be able to meet the payments, but if i could pay another £15 in a few days time, the offer would be accepted and all I would have to pay would be £15 per month thereafter. I scraped together the extra £15 and paid it. Then, I recieved another letter from CDF stating that £15 wasn't enough, and I would have to pay £29 Per month (funny as they thought I couldnt afford £15 ). Days after I get a letter from 'Debt and Revenue Services ( liverpool) saying the case had been handed to them, and they wanted immediate payment . I contacted consumer credit counselling services, who told me not to worry as these people could not enter the house, and they would have to take it to court. Yesterday I received another letter from DRS Enforcement Division 'Notice of Action' saying they would be paying a visit either monday or tuesday. This is all driving me insane, I keep thinking of just 'doing one' and dissappearing for a while, how can people be allowed to operate in this fashion?

I got a loan with CDF via Skillstrain, the agents told me that I would be covered by the payment protection at the outset even though I was unemployed at the time, they knew this, and assured me the PPI would cover my payments if I was unable to find work. I later found out this is not the case and have reffered the matter to the financial ombudsman for anticedent neotiations and misrepresentation of services, these people are dishonest and totally without ethics. as are their agents. Avoid them.

CDF are nothing but liars i have had 1 email since joining and decided not to pay due to lack of contact eg no letters they claimed to be with train2game which again was a scam so if you to are somehow associtied with this CDF i wouldnt worry they send warnings about debt recovery which wont happen they just expect you will pay because they think they can make you pay dont pay as you will lose money i havent lost any sleep over this so why should you?
